Update planners with Agenda and HW

1. Chapter 8 Vocabulary Packet
   1. In partners, complete Sentence Check One. Teacher will use sticks to check answers and correct.
   2. Sentence Check Two, repeat : )
   3. On Vocabulary Acquisition Sheet, have students add day 2-4 information using teacher's example.
2. Article: "In Praise of Arranged Marriages"
   • Students numbered the paragraphs, previewed the text and predicted what the article will be about yesterday using Cornell Notes.
   1. First Read
      • Teacher will read aloud with students, stopping to explain/discuss as necessary.
   2. Second Read: Summarize
      • Students will re-read the article independently and write one summary sentence in the margin for each paragraph.
